I. To UNITE ALL Ijaw women regardless of our differences
II. To EDUCATE ALL Ijaw women at all levels.

III. To CREATE awareness of the current affairs in the creeks and other rural/urban areas of Ijaw Land and promote civil and human rights.
IV. To SUPPORT all Ijaw women financially, morally and in ALL capacities possible here in America and the world at large.
V. To SPEAK with ONE VOICE and in love always for the benefit of ALL Ijaw Women.  
VI. ‎ To BUILD each other up and enable one another to be SIGNIFICANT in the universe.

VII. To PRESERVE our heritage; our arts, history and culture

• ​​We are Ijaw Women.  We live and work in the Americas.  We are originally from the following areas of the Niger Delta Region of Nigeria:   BAYELSA State - Amassoma, Odi, Sagbama, Yenegoa etc. RIVERS State, Okrika, Kalabari, Andoni, Opobo, Bonny etc.  EDO State -  Egbema Kingdom, Gelegele, Ofunama etc.  ONDO State - Apoi/Arogbo etc.  AKWA-IBOM State - Eastern Obolo/Ibeno etc.  DELTA State - Patani, Abari, Burutu, Ogulagha, Ezebiri, Bomadi, Tuomo, Gbaramatu etc.  We believe we still have communities in Lagos, Cross Rivers and along the coasts of Western Africa.

Though miles away from home we still are IJAW Women and Ijaw flows through everything we do here in America and so we encourage ALL Ijaw Women to join us.  We seek only positive minded and significant women who desire to create a difference in our time.
