August 21st 2018 - Ijaw Women of America Inc. launches the first Borehole water project in Opuama Community located in Southern Ijaw LGA in Bayelsa State.

Our National Director Madam Julia Ekpete led ijaw Nation to Opuama Kingdom.  She was escorted and accompanied by the Ijaw Youth Council headed by Barrister Pereotubo Rowland Oweilaemi the President of IYC worldwide in addition to IYC members and the Eastern Zone Chapter chairman Sammy George, Gabriel Allen and others youth leaders in Ijaw Nation.

Water is the source of life and as the saying goes "She who brings water brings life"
